Syllabus

Engineers work in teams. Also, much of learning is best done through group work. We will break the class into teams of 3-4, and you will stay in those teams for the entire semester. Teams will compete through a point-earning system throughout the semester. The teams will work together in class on occasion, and will do projects together. Teams will be able to earn points through project competitions and in-class team challenges. In addition, teams will earn points through reading quizzes and attendance (-3 points for an absence, -1 point for lateness). Team scores will go towards extra credit and a prize for team members at the end of the semester; team scores will not impact grades.
