sigma pi sigma: physics honor society at
Randolph
College The Randolph College chapter of Sigma Pi Sigma was established in 1999 (founded as Randolph-Macon Woman's College Chapter of Sigma Pi Sigma). Sigma Pi Sigma is a national honor society run by the national Society of Physics Students. Membership in Sigma Pi Sigma does not require a physics major. The requirements are: the student must be in the top third of her/his class The newest Sigma Pi Sigma
members will be inducted April. A list of our

what is sigma pi sigma?
"Founded
in 1921, Sigma Pi Sigma is a member honor society of the Association of
College Honor Societies. . . Sigma Pi Sigma exists to honor outstanding
scholarship in physics; to encourage interest in physics among students
at all levels; to promote an attitude of service of its members towards
their fellow students, colleagues, and the public; to provide a
fellowship of persons who have excelled in physics."
