- Homework will typically be assigned on Thursday
and due on Thursday. This may vary a bit around labs and exams.
- Once every 2-3 weeks, the homework will include a short computer-based
problem which will require you to use whatever you are familiar with: Mathcad, Excel,
Mathematica, Matlab, or any programming language.
- We will do three labs during the semester. These
will be like any other 300-level lab, but write-ups will not need to be
extensive. We will discuss details when they come up.
- The research project
will come toward the end of the semester, and will consist of library
research, choosing a topic, and a report on what you found.
- Office hours will be OPEN: feel free
to drop by
at any time or to make an appointment for any
time. You can view my
schedule.
This website and Moodle will be used for homework assignments and solutions, exam hints and solutions,
schedule changes and guidelines (such as those listed here), so that you can access them
anytime.
