Announcing Poetry Contest Finalists: come to the awards announcements and public reading on Friday 3/23 at 7 pm in Smith Banquet Hall on the Randolph campus.

Congratulations to the Randolph College Science Festival Poetry Finalists! All finalists will be published in a book, and at the reading on Friday, we will announce the top three winners from each group. The public is welcome to this catered event. We invite any student finalist to read their own poem, but if they do not want to, we will have one of our judges read it at the public reading.

Congratulations to all entrants, we were extremely impressed and pleased with all 750 submissions! It was a tough competition with so many poems, and I truly believe everyone who entered deserved to win. Thank goodness I did not have to be a judge, it would have killed me to eliminate any poem. Be assured that the poems were judged by real poets: faculty poets and senior creative writing majors.

Thank you so much for your help in making this event a success, and I hope to see you at the reading on Friday.
