Internship Opportunties

For Internship Opportunities, please visit the internship office and Career Development Center in person, see any one of the faculty in the Department, and check out the internship office website http://www.randolphcollege.edu/about/initiatives/co-curriculum/internships/

  • NAES is a global leader in energy delivery and has a relationship with Randolph. For more information, ask the internship office.

  • For the spring, we are always looking for about 10 SciFest interns - the committment averages 3 hours/week. You can apply for a certain position (see http://www.randolphscience.org/interns), or just apply for an "at large" position, where youc an just pitch in where needed. While we have a pririty deadline in November, we will usually be taking applications until the spring semester starts in order to fill all positions.
  • In Virginia, there is a fantastic resource that allows you to find internships: CSIIP, which is a clearinghouse for science-based internships. You MUST register at the CSIIP website. All students should do this!
  • In Lynchburg, some regular engineering internship opportunities can be found at:
  • The SPS Internships are good ones to apply for, for physics majors - more information here. Application due date is January 15. Some of these are open to international students. Students should have the equivalent of two years of physics.
