thinking of joining sps?
You do not have to be a physics major to join; we want anyone who thinks physics is cool to sign up!

Membership in the national SPS club only costs $20 a year.  You are more than welcome to just join our campus club for free, but national membership comes with many benefits, including:
+ A subscription to Physics Today, a magazine devoted to all things physics which comes in your mailbox every month!
+ Free registration at physics conferences around the country
+ Discounted admission on the Physics Department King's Dominion Trip in April
+ If you are a current SPS member and you qualify, the Department will pay for your induction into Sigma Pi Sigma, the national honor society
+ The thrill of knowing you are part of an elite group of members who paid their dues

If you can't wait to join the smartest club at Randolph, then either:
+ Print an application from our webpage, and mail it and your $20 application fee to the national Society of Physics Students
+ See Dr. Sheldon for a paper application and a free stamp!

Still not convinced SPS is for you?  Then come to one of our meetings in Darden every other Monday of each month at 5:30 pm.
